Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition Service Pack 2 Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition Service Pack 2 Administration Tools Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition Service Pack 2 Administration Plug-in for Kaspersky Security Center Version 8.0.2.213 Release date: 13.03.2015 WHAT'S NEW - A new functionality of protecting the network storages using the ICAP protocol is added (EMC Isilon, Hitachi). - A new on-demand task is added - "Application integrity control". The task checks the digital signatures of the application modules for validity. - The antivirus databases can now be updated in the RAM. It reduces the disk I/O of a server, at the expense of the RAM. FIXES SINCE THE VERSION 8.0.1.923 - Fixed some bugs found in the process of integration with NetApp and Hitachi network storages using the RPC protocol. When working with the Cluster Mode of NAS, a correct application name and version is now passed to the network storage. - Now an URL like "ftp://user:password@192.168.1.2/folder" can be set as an update source. - Selecting the product location from the list of countries is removed from the Update task properties. This functionality is no longer supported by the update servers. - In the Kaspersky Security Center Virus Report the Action field is now correctly filled in the case when a virus was removed from an archive (1001473). - Fixed a bug that sometimes led to the Script Checker agent crash on 64-bit systems (1005885). - The network storage protection tasks no longer affect the product state. There is now a separate information block for those tasks on the main product window (if a KAV for Storage license was used to activate the application). - Optimized the speed of exporting the application reports from the Administration Tools. LIMITATIONS AND KNOWN ISSUES - During installation of the application on top of an existing Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers MP4 installation, a restart of the computer is required. - During installation of the application on top of an existing Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers MP4 installation, the system audit log and task logs are not imported. - During installation of the application on top of an existing Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Servers MP4 installation, files in Quarantine or Backup are not imported. It is not possible to scan only archives without scanning SFX archives. However, it is possible to scan SFX archives without scanning regular archives. - If an excessively long full path (more than 150 characters) is specified as the destination for application installation, a warning appears. However, Kaspersky Anti-Virus will still be installed successfully and the application will function correctly. - Installation of the SNMP support component requires restarting the SNMP service, if it is currently running. - When specifying a key in the Setup Wizard, if you indicate a path to a key file on a drive created by using the SUBST command or on a network drive, the key will not be added. - When configuring protection and scan scopes via Kaspersky Anti-Virus Console, only one path mask is allowed and the mask must be at the end of the file path. Examples of correct masks: "C:\Temp\Temp*", "C:\Temp\Temp???.doc", or "C:\Temp\Temp*.doc". The restriction does not apply when configuring Trusted Zone. - Special characters are properly displayed in the command line utility only if the regional settings of the operating system match the application localization in use. - Use of multi-byte encoding when entering a user name and password for proxy server authentication (Basic authentication) may cause authentication errors. - When an object is restored from Quarantine or Backup, the "Encrypted" file attribute is not restored. - After critical updates of Kaspersky Anti-Virus application software modules are installed, display of the application tray icon is disabled by default. - Filter conditions in the console nodes for Quarantine, Backup, System audit log, and Task logs are case-sensitive. - Installation of Administration Tools for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 through Microsoft Active Directory group policies is not supported. - When User Account Control is enabled in the operating system, double-clicking the application tray icon opens Kaspersky Anti-Virus Console only if the user account is in the KAVWSEE Administrators group. Otherwise, the "About the application" window opens. - Kaspersky Security Center Administration Server checks for database updates only. It does not check for updates to application software modules. - Sending files to Kaspersky Lab from Quarantine via Kaspersky Security Center is not supported. © 2015 Kaspersky Lab ZAO.
